I have always been an active, athletic individual. However, over the last five years my job has slowly transitioned from an active, strenuous career, to extremely sedentary. I do most of my work from the computer and travel a lot. My workout routines have dwindled until I literally don't have one any more. I can't take it anymore! My husband and I are starting P90X. Hoping to lose 15-20 lbs.
I love working out because I feel great; my attitude is more positive; I'm not as easily injured; I look better in my clothes... I do not have to go buy new clothes, I will be able to wear the ones I have now; I am more healthy; When I am in shape I feel more confident in regards to personal protection. I am much more productive when I am in shape. I can accomplish more because my stamina is stronger. I have tons of energy! My brain seems much more clear and I have an all around greater sense of well being. These were all things I have taken for granted for most of my life. Only within the last two years did I start to realize how much easier it is to seize the day when your body feels good about it.
