First time I went to the gym was back in June 1996.
I was a skinny guy with 64kg and needed to increase weight & strength for rugby. So I started going to the gym. I didn't exactly know what I was doing and what to eat but I eventually learned and gradually made it up to 82kg and it made a lot of difference on the pitch. Later I increased my weight up to 89kg. I was bulking in rugby off season.
Due to injuries I had to stop playing rugby.
In May 2010 I took my dog on a dog show and saw a picture of my gut. What a disgrace it was to see that. I decided then, that I need to get back in shape and take care about myself once again.
That is why I state I started in July 2010. It's a milestone in my life.
I am a father of a beautiful girl, a computer expert, love playing PC games ;) and be physically active. I also like to be lazy sometimes ;).
Why I Love it
I love the physical challenge, the pain during/after workouts. I love the mental challenge required to get me through the hardest parts of training.
