Started working out while playing football in high school in 1970. I continued to work out and running while in the military (Army and Marine Corps). I continued to train while studying in college even though I was having migraine headaches. I have had a few setbacks concerning my health and have had to have several different types of surgeries throughout the years. I'm not looking for sympathy but I am currently back in the gym training and I would like to possibly become a competitive bodybuilder. I am training in Martial Arts which gives me some cardio work and helps keep my mind sharp. I am also interested in learning more about nutrition and diet that I can use to live a healthy lifestyle.
I enjoy bodybuilding and strength training for the way that it leaves me feeling (pumped up and stronger). But it also keeps me more energized and mentally alert to be able to complete my Theology Doctorate and to continue my martial arts training. I currently am training in TaeKwonDo and would like to study Hapkido.
