I was done with being self conscious, i've been overweight for a solid number of years. My step brother pushed me to begin with exercises at home. I then began to run outside and eventually got a membership. I now take part in daily physical activity and attend the gym 5~6 days a week.
I love bodybuilding because it shows me what I can achieve. It's challenging me to push my self when i'm exhausted. I enjoy seeing myself change in pictures, and the mirror and I love knowing that when i face a challenge, I'm readily able to face it head on. The thrill and excitement of achieving your goals and proving people wrong, and lifting heavier and feeling healthier is just amazing. The gym has become my passion, it has become my place of sanctity. Once I walk in, it's just me. My body is evidence of what I can accomplish and I am accountable for how it looks. I love being someone that people can approach with questions or concerns and my main goal is to inspire anyone I can.
