I am a self- confessed Krav-Maga fanatic and have been training for 5 years in the UK. I started lifting weights to supplement my Krav training mainly to build strength and to make myself a good all-rounder. I have let my discipline go slack over the past year, with the various stresses and strains of life that we all have to deal with. I want to push past those every day obstacles (Krav-Maga mentality is good for that shizz!) and achieve the hard body of a fighter with a strong physical and mental capacity.
What I can achieve in the gym makes me believe I can overcome challenges in other areas of my life... especially when it comes to people who tell you something is impossible and out of your reach. I have learnt that in life your ONLY obstacle is yourself. Once you conquer your own mind, everything becomes possible. I wouldn't say I love working out all the time... sometimes I enjoy it and other times I would much rather flop in front of the TV!!! Gotta keep my eyes on the prize and remember that the health benefits are massive and who wouldn't want a body that could turn heads everywhere they go AND be a worthy sparring opponent?!
