Back in the 90s during the low-fat, weight training craze. I became hooked on strength training. I love it.

I love the way it transforms my body and how it makes me feel. There's no other 'sport' like it for me. I have a back condition and haven't been healthy for close to 10 years (no exercise, too many pain meds) and in March 2017, I restarted my journey. I stopped all medications for pain, then began to work out again (I must go slow, my back hurts) and I'm now 5 weeks into a keto diet. I'm loving life! Whenever I get hurt again (my back), I train around the pain. I almost never use my cane like I used to!
