I have also worked out since High School but like most guys with lack of true knowledge I just focused on lifting heavy. It was all about the strength and how much I could bench or curl. Also like most I drifted in and out of working out till last September I finally had enough of the yoyo fitness life I've always had and decided to educate myself properly and make fitness my life. I learned the importance of nutrition and that the word diet is not a 4 week fade but a life time goal of what you are putting into your body. I learned the importance of eating 6 meals a day and putting in your time with cardio. I still have a lot to learn but I'm finally on the right track. I'm also currently studying to get my certificate from ISAA to become a personal trainer. I want to share my new found knowledge and also set myself up for success by surrounding myself with fitness..
I love working out. I put my headphones on and go to my 'happy' place. I love the feel of a great pump. I love the look I achieve from hard work put into the gym. It is an addiction. Working out is a challenge and battle. You are always fighting for that next rep or extra set. Pushing yourself and breaking through all the mental roadblock and unleashing your full physical potential.
