Started with a punching bag. Always had a lot of "energy". Then came the weights. Working out balances my brain chemistry. After I finish a good workout I feel the endorphins. And those are addictive. They keep me leveled out. They keep me feeling good. They keep me out of trouble. I don't have to self medicate because of lifting and working out in general. I kept lifting and figured I would make goals since I worked out so often. Then once I got to my first goals those became addictive. Especially strength. I started lifting to balance out my mood. The gains were just an added perk. I only lift for myself, no one else.
Why I Love it
Because it makes me feel better mentally and physically. I also have 100% control over it.
