When I turned 25 I decided I was going to make some goals and stick to them! My goal for that year..Run a mile a 5K, 10K, Half-marathon.. I couldn't run a half mile without walking. Within a month I ran my fastest mile ever under 8 minutes!! From there I ran multiply 5Ks and a 10K and finally 6 months after my first day running I ran a half-marathon! Loved it! Then I had an injury. I couldn't run a mile without being in tears. I starting lifting some to keep myself in shape. I am very goal oriented and was down about not being able to run. A friend told me about the bikini competitions so I set a new goal.

I feel like a million bucks when I have lifted more than I did the time before and seeing the small changes it is making in my body keeps me fired up!
