Years ago when I still went to school/university I was always active and did a lot of sport, Biking, Martial Arts, Swimming, Snowboarding, Inline-Skating. After entering the working life I spent most of my time at the desk and enjoyed the amazing and cheap canteen food. It took a few years till I actually admitted that I got FAT so I changed my diet, started taking the bike where I usually took the car and went swimming on a regular base. The pool I visited also had a gym and so I decided to give it a try. With the help of my sister, a personal trainer, I lost my first 15kg and it turned out that I loved it and it and I dedicated my leisure time to the gym, exchanging it for the time in front of the TV ;)
When I plug in my headphone and start my workout I'm in my own universe and no one should disturb me. I leave all the stress behind and just concentrate on my exercises, this is MY time and here I challenge myself to be better than before.
