I got started bodybuilding after my coworker, who is a competitive/hobby bodybuilder would always ask me to work out with him. I knew i needed to do something, because at the time (June 2011) was the biggest I have ever been weighing in at 280 lbs! I have always been a yo-yo dieter, going on fad diets, losing a bunch of weight only to gain it all back as soon I stopped. I knew I had to do something to get this fat off once and for all, and since I had already tried several diets I knew the only way to get it off and keep it off was by totally transforming my lifestyle. I owe all my success to my mentor for teaching me how to eat right and train. Since I started working out I have lost a total of 78 lbs. and currently weigh in at 202 - and I am determined to get in the best shape of my life. There's no turning back now, its only up from here.
I love bodybuilding because it makes my body feel good. I love to challenge myself by continuing to gain strength, and increasing my endurance and at the same time watching my body transform! Working out at World Gym in San Diego, CA is also why I love bodybuilding. I see everyone working out so hard and it motivates me to strive for more gains!
