When I was a sophomore in high school, I realized that I did not like what my body looked like. I was a volleyball player, but I had always been somewhat heavier than my peers all my life. After volleyball season, I asked my mom to take me to the gym and teach me how to use machines. I fell in love with seeing my body change. However, my diet was not healthy. I was counting and cutting calories meticulously and it was beginning to be unhealthy. When I got my BMI checked I realizd that I was losing muscle mass. This made me frustrated and made me change the way I ate. I began adding in calories and eating more protein. In 2016, I began my fitness Instagram and fell in love with the idea of bodybuilding. I know that I want to compete in the near future. I began college in the fall of 2016 with a major in Pre-dietetics. Since then, I have added a second major: kinesiology. I want to graduate in 2020 and begin my Master's and Dietetics internship right after. Ultimately, I want to be a sports dietician for a professional team.
I love seeing what my body is capable of. I love pushing my body to the limits and seeing myself improve. Setting goals and hitting them is a new sense of achievement and it makes you feel amazing! Working out has been my anxiety and stress relief, but it has also helped me grow as a person. I have a passion for fitness and want to live this lifestyle for the rest of my life.
