I started hitting the gym in college, kind of out of the blue one day. I would lift alone and with really no true knowledge of the gym, a lifting regiment, or even good nutrition. Once I joined the Marine Corps and deployed to Afghanistan I really took charge and started researching everything I could about lifting and nutrition. I'm not where I want to be, but I do believe I'm in the best shape of my life right now and will only continue to push myself further.
I love to improve my body however I can. I believe that the measure of a man is what he can do with his hands and feet, and so I will continue to improve myself with that type of mentality. When I enter a gym I feel almost invincible. I am always eager to see how far I can push myself, and when I need motivation, I just look in the mirror and use the results I see. Working out has changed my life for the better!
