I have always been active, ever since I was a little kid, but as I grew up I started to come up with more excuses. I would justify eating poorly because I had a 'good workout'. I was never really taught that food was the fuel for my body, and I should feed my body properly along with exercise to continue being healthy. When I stumbled across Bodybuilding in Nov. of 2013, I finally felt like I had the resources, research, plans, and recipes to succeed on my own, and I have been growing in my knowledge and love for the fitness industry since.
When I workout, I feel like I slip into my own little world where anything is possible, and I can truly achieve what I have dreamed is possible. I also get this energy and 'high on life' feeling that is indescribable, I could be completely drained physically from a workout, but on such a positive level emotionally. I have noticed such a positive impact on my work when I workout, I not only am more mentally present, but I feel more chipper, and have just a joy and zest for life. Knowing that when I workout, I can push my limits, and grow to be a better person physically and mentally is a benefit I have learned I can't afford to pass on.
