I've been going back to the gym since the kids went back to school so being on a routine has helped. Especially getting my workout in first thing in the morning. I don't have much time but need to be accountable and set a few personal goals. This site is very encouraging and I'm excited to get started.
I'm highly embarrassed with how I've let myself go. This is not like me! Posting a before picture is totally putting myself out there. I went from being an avid gym rat to a mom/wife that put everyone else before myself. These last 7 years I have struggled with a deteriorating kidney which let to high blood pressure. 3 Years ago I was told my kidney needed to come out! Yes I have only 1 and i'm living like there is no tomorrow. Taking care of my body by changing my eating habits, lots of water to keep the kidney flushed and keeping my daily workout. It's me first then my family. No more excuses!!!
I play hockey and every year I felt I needed an oxygen tank after my shift. NOT THIS YEAR!! I'll be keeping up with those 20 year olds. lol
Love, Love, Love the energy I get. I accomplish so much on a daily basis. I can't wait to see the results physically, I'm already starting to see the change in my jeans.
