From a very young age I always loved being active. At 13, I stumbled in to my first gym (mostly out of curiosity) and started working out on different machines. I discovered the chest press and chest fly machine and got hooked. I worked on it day in and day out hoping the "girls" would get bigger. Sadly it didn't work however in the process I discovered the beauty of a stronger upper body. Over the years I familiarized myself and became comfortable with all the equipment. I switched more and more from "cardio bunny" to the weights and by the time I joined the military I was hopelessly in love with pushing weights around and being a strong woman. Over the years more and more people approached me about working out. I started college studying Health and Sports Science and that was the end of that. There was no turning back. In 2012 I decided I wanted to take it to the next level and wanted to compete. I started paying attention to what I ate and stepped on stage for the first time. I was terrified, but I loved the new challenge. So here I am now, still working on trying to build muscle and trying to find the perfect diet and plan for me.
