I've been working out ever since high school, only concentrating on cardio simple strength training, taking breaks when I was pregnant with each of my 3 children. Each pregnancy I gained weight and was able to lose it getting back to pre pregnancy weight of around 165. My last pregnancy 2.5 years ago I gained ALOT and was 248 pounds the day I came home from the hospital. The past 2 years I worked out mainly cardio but didn't really understand nutrition, so once again I got to 165 and couldn't lose anymore. Then I decided if I was going to get lower than 165 I needed to learn about proper nutrition and new techniques to be fit. 3 months ago I was introduced to Jamie Eason LiveFit program where I learned how to eat right and started really concentrating on building lean muscle mass through weight training. Jamie's program started a new way of life for me. I will never turn back now!!
I love working out cardio and weight training because it makes me feel strong and powerful, like I can take on anything life throws at me! I love seeing my body transform month after month. Nutrition played a key role in my recent transformation. I'm no longer a flabby chubster... I'm turning into a lean , mean, clean eating, muscle machine! Slowly but surely i'm getting there and I'll be amping up my weight training with this new Strong to the Cor Challenge I'll be working on for the next 6 weeks~
