I grew up dancing 3-6 days a week from the time I was 4 years old until I was 23. Once I graduated college, I started taking the gym seriously since I needed a way to stay in shape. I quickly fell in love with weight lifting and the rest is history!

I love seeing the changes in your own body, even if it's the smallest thing. There will be periods of setback or where your motivation is out the window, but that's exactly what they are...periods and phases in your life. That motivation will come back if you will it and with it, your body will pick up on that. I try and push myself as hard as I can in all my lifts and workouts. You are only going to get out what you put in! There are those days where I have no motivation to lift, but have never regretted a session afterward!
