I tryed to start bodybuilding in 2011. Life happens. My daughter has MS and had been very lucky with this unpredictable disease. She had a relaspe that would last almost a year with severe pain. She did come out of the pain and is a survivor! I received a phone call from my son in Dec. 2012. Mom I can't walk. MS never crossed my mind. I arrived at the hospital. The MRI revealed several white lesions on his brain. Horrified! He was diagnosed with MS. My son went right into a wheelchair and his recovery is most likely not going to happen. His bi-polar complicates his MS. I went into a very deep depression 11/2014 and I was at lowest point in my life. I lost 15 pounds and all hope. I went to the doctor in dec. 2015. My MRI revealed that I may have lupus or MS. everything came back that I was healthy!! Always exercising on and off. I ran across Bodybuilding 2015! I started Jan.15 contest because I wanted to live again. I will win the 2015 competition! Because my entire life has changed and at 64 years young I will continue to LIFT WEIGHTS and INSpire others it's never to late to follow your dreams. This is my dream! Thank you bodybuilding!!!
I started Body building to be healthier and to make my body firmer and to have defined muscles.
The most important reason; I WANTED TO LIVE AGAIN. 2012 WAS THE MOST CHALLENGING YEAR OF MY LIFE!
Exercise has always been my passion. I even became a personal trainer in my early 50's. I also discovered along my life path, it took away depression!!
My cholesterol in 2012 was 230.Today it's 178.
My triglycerides in 2012 was 120. Today 88. My body is changing before my eyes! Thank you Body building for all your continued support!
