I began wrestling in 3rd grade, and as a freshman in high school, I naturally transitioned into weight training. I found Bodybuilding.com at around that time and learned a lot about diet, supplements, and of course, training. I am a very self motivated person... at around the time I started, a lot of people were confused when I told them I wasn't working out for a sport, or aesthetics, I was doing it because it felt good, and it was a challenge. I made drastic changes to my physique throughout high school, and while in college had considered entering bodybuilding contests, but chose to pursue fitness modeling instead. After my first professional shoot at age 21, I had booked my first workout magazine spread. Since then, I have been featured in over 100 national and international fitness magazines. I have also been published as a writer. I still love the challenge of dieting and training for shoots... I definitely feel that hard work and dedication to one's fitness goals transfers over to other aspects of life.
