I started lifting because I was playing baseball and wanted to become stronger and faster. I ended up playing football and powerlifing also. I played college baseball and then I dropped out of college and took a job like many others. I was kinda lost for a while with no sport to play. I kept exercising but with no clear goal or reason to train hard. I was slowly losing my motivation. I had a few good runs where I stayed on track with a goal in mind but for one reason or another I always ended up laying off and basically just maintaining my build. For the last year I have been going hard with no intention of stopping. I also have a brother who is 5 years older than me that I have always looked up to that always was and still is into weightliftng.
I love bodybuilding because it makes me feel like I am doing something worthwhile. Everybody judges the book by the cover despite their claims. After a good hardcore workout session it doesnt matter what the rest of tbe day brings I feel like I accomplished something toward a better future. Bodybuilding is also a great way to vent out your frustrations in a healthy and beneficial way. And last but certainly not least, I just really enjoy chasing a good pump with the main objective of trying to get swole up!
