I got started in January 2013 after a body compostition test showed me I was at 30% body fat - almost at Obese levesl! I wanted to change. So started going to fitness classes at the local gym 3-4 times a week. But I was struggling. I didn't know enough about about training and I wanted to learn. So I checked out bodybuilding.com where I saw the JamieEason Live Fit program. It was beginner friendly so I went for it. That was in March and I will finish the last week in a few days. I love what lifting is doing to my body, my confidence, and my attitude. It's been a lifestyle change.
I didn't follow the eating plan though! And I scratched my head when I didn't loose more weight. So back to bodybuilding.com for training about nutrition. It was here on May 3rd that I learned about macros! So I jumped onto an app that helps to track food intake.
I'm learning so much and I'm excited to be on the journey : )
