I went to a doctor for a torn ACL, weighed 318 at the office. The surgeon told me if I didn't lose some weight I'd end up needing knee replacement surgery by the time I was 50. In the 2 years following I had lost nearly 100 lbs. I tend to fluctuate in weight depending on the type of program I'm doing. I've been as low as 220 and as high as 240 in the past year. I've recently decided that I'm going to gear my workouts more toward High Intensity type programs only and try to completely change the way I look.
I love the change I was able to make from the outside, in. At my 10 year HS reunion 2 years ago, half the people I graduated with didn't recognize me, I loved it. I love that I'm never tired, hardly ever get sick and am able to do things that friends of mine can't do on their best days. It's just amazing how much better I feel now at 30 than I did at 21.
