I have been powerlifting for 6 years thanks to my trainer introducing it to me. I fell in love shortly after I started.

I loved seeing how strong I was getting and knowing that I was gaining more and more muscle. It's kind of empowering being a strong female and breaking the stereotype. I never was much of a girlie girl, so this fit my personality perfectly. I have a competitive side, so being able to compete against myself by hitting PRs is great motivation!
