I originally started lifting 3 years ago to make my girlfriend of 5 years at the time find me attractive. Honestly it was the dumbest reason to start but it gave me the motivation to get into the gym. We broke up shortly after I started exercising so it didn't really matter anyway but something click in my head. I like the way I feel in the gym. I like the way I feel when I give it 100% every minute in the gym. I did it for me. I like the feeling of accomplishment, and knowing that you are achieving something you set your mind too. I still have a long way to go.
I wasn't knowledgeable about nutrition habits at the start so i eventually got "Fat" a year later. I started researching nutrition habits. Instead of eating everything under the sun.

It keeps my mind sharp. Keeps me healthy. It helps me mentality understanding that I can go that extra step that its all in my head if i can overcome the mindset. Like anything, Its a feeling of accomplishment.
