I've been big into soccer my entire life. My team had reached the semi-finals of playoffs my sophomore year of highschool. Unfortunately I got injured shortly after the whistle blew. I was devestated and was unable to play the final as well due to most of my ligaments being torn and over 5 fractures in my ankle. Needless to say the recovery time would be lengthy. Although this deturred me from being able to lift legs at the time; I was able to spark my passion in the weight room and take out my anger and frustration as well. Without soccer as my outlet, weightlifting soon took its place. It would create a passion for me and would later influence me to get my personal training liscense (NFPT), continue bodybuilding, and live a healthy life style.
It is a place where I can go and get away from the crowd and the clutter for however long and just pound weights. I love the feeling of "The pump" as Arnold labled it. I also love perfecting the form of lifts and finding new ways to improve how I perform excercises. Needless to say, the aesthetic benefit doesn't hurt either. I have a unique interest in nutrition and fitness for someone my age, and am constantly craving knowledge.
