when i first started working out i was a sophomore in high school. i was weighing at 267 pounds. i really wanted a change because i was tired of being picked on and having low self esteem. i signed up for wrestling at school and fell in love. i wrestled for two years and managed to drop my weight to 195 pounds. sadly, during preseason training i injured my knee and wasnt able to wrestle or workout out for a year. when i started college, i was back up to 235 pounds. after fully recuperated i saw how badly i let my self go and decided to jump back into full throttle. a year later, i am finally back below 200 pounds :)
i love working out because i get to challenge my self every time. i love pushing my self and proving to my self that i can. i also been struggling with depression for years and it really helps me alot. it keeps my mind of my stresses and troubles that bother me every day and gives me my self esteem a boost.
