When I started playing rugby league at senior level the training sessions were very intense, which saw me start to rapidly drop weight from 120kgs down to about 87 in 3 months. After losing all that weight I decided that it was a good idea to start going to the gym as now I didnt have the size to mix it up with the big fellas in the forward pack. Seemed pretty simple; If I couldnt weigh as much as them then I had to be stronger.
