I got started by just finally getting tired of being out of shape and no energy.
Update: February 18, 2016 ... In the beginning, I did not care very much for any exercise, but I want to RETRACT my statement ... I found out over the last 3-4 months, I prefer strength training compared to other forms of exercises. Yeah, I, the person who hated to exercise has finally found something that she likes to do in the gym. Even though the exercises can be quite challenging at first, if I take my time and listen to my body, I usually see improvement in a short time. I still struggle with some areas of strength training. For example, the squats and lunges are difficult for me to do because my knees hurt when I been down. So for now, I am just practicing squats and lunges with my BODY only.
I don't love working out, but I hope to incorporate it into my life because I want to look good, be self-confident and feel energetic.
Update: February 18, 2016 ... I love going to the gym to workout now because since using the BODYSPACE app to track my workout, using the swap or add exercise feature when I don't like an exercise that's too difficult. I also like to forums, friends, diet, and supplement articles regularly posted by Bodybuidling.com. The well-written, empirical driven articles are a major plus for me. And I cannot forget the step-by-step videos for each exercise now that has made all the difference in the world for me to attempt any of the exercises. Lastly, I can now walk into any gym with utter confidence. I am comfortable using the majority of the gym machines. I have an exercise plan to follow with an app ready and waiting on my cell-phone. I know that best supplements to put in my body. I have online friends who are will cheer me on when I need it with just a "click" of a button. Bodybuilding mentors provide great diet and supplement articles. I have, at my disposable to choose from, multiple recipes with videos and food lists. I have photos and articles from actual role models. Oh, yeah, I love the FIT-MEN-COOK app which was a super gem to find .... so I just need to stick to the programs, suggestions and implement a lifestyle of healthy eating and exercise that will help me to live a beautiful, active, healthy life.
