I grew up playing sports and always being in the weight room but unfortunately I never really had the passion to lift until after college. I got a bit of the bug while at UCSB just to counter my drinking but now I eat/sleep/live fitness and reaching for my goals. I never had a personal trainer because I thought I knew a lot. I read a ton about nutrition and lifting but nothing has helped me more than Kris Gethins 12 week transformation program. I learned so much the first time last year but I just started it again and am going to push myself even further! I look forward to every day!
When I'm in the gym I am in my own little zone. I don't talk to anyone, I don't worry about anything else, I am completely focused on me. I love coming out of the gym and knowing I put down my best effort and that it was all for me and it makes me feel good physically and mentally.
