I Started working out in 2003 because i was turning 40 in 1 year and i hadn't taken my health very seriously up to then. I have pretty good genetics and didn't need to work hard to stay in decent shape. I was 6'1" and 190 lbs. I stated working out regularly in July of 2003 and by March of 2005 i was 230 lbs. Not ripped, but not fat either. I started losing weight and my energy not long after and in August of 2005 was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. By October of that year i was 180 lbs. I went through 5 months of chemotherapy(8 rounds) and, too make a long story shorter, i am feeling great again, the cancer is gone and i have worked my way back up to 219 lbs. I am going to be bigger, better and stronger than i ever was and am doing it all naturally. I only take 2 omega-3 pills for supplements daily, all else are whole foods. I find this site very inspiring, reading all the success stories and hope i have one also someday. Although i am pretty sure surviving cancer is a pretty good success story itself. When i get the nerve, i would like to post a picture. Hopefully soon. Take care and live life one day at a time.
