I first stepped into the gym my freshman year of High School. Throughout my four years in high school i was known as Big Siz because i was always the one in the weight room working my tail off to become a bigger, faster, stronger athlete. I learned a lot about how my body works throughout those four years and much more about the human body in general and how i could maximize my performance as an athlete on the field. I gathered all the information about nutrition, and exercise from people more experienced than me and read books on how to train properly.
I went on to play college ball and was a 3 year varsity started up until the first game of my junior year when i received a intense concussion. I was one of many and that is when i decided to step down from the game for my own well being. It was tough, and not being able to go workout for a month was even worse. Throughout that month I decided that i would enter the NPC and compete in the physique division. I wanted to compete because I was born a competitor and i needed an outlet. Working out is fun, but doing it to become a winner in something is what drove me. I cannot wait to see how my first competition goes and too see where my career will take me in management and hopefully fitness.
I love to workout because it is an outlet to all my stressors. When i step onto the field of into the weight room its always me against me. Bodybuilding has helped me shape myself both physically and mentally and has helped me mature to who I am today. I am not an exercise science major anymore but i love learning about how the body can grow more efficiently.
Working out is my passion, it is my enthusiasm because i live doing it and it makes me more productive. The tougher it gets, the better I get.
