I started working out in the summer of 2003, before my freshman year of high school, in the strength and conditioning program for football. Throughout my four years of high school I continued to workout with the football team during the seasons and in the summer and winter strength and conditioning programs. I loved working out and was the strongest in my school, breaking the 30 year old bench press record my senior year. After graduating from high school I got lazy and lacked motivation due to not having a structured program to push me. I stopped working out for about a year and a half and I quickly shot up to 280 pounds by the middle of my sophomore year in college. When I finally realized how unhealthy and out of shape I was I got back into the gym and started creating my own workout programs. In the next year I had a burning passion for fitness and lost 60 pounds and was in the best shape of my life. Unfortunately at the end of my college time I got into an unhealthy relationship, started smoking, and stopped working out. I quickly gained back all the weight I had lost and lost the strength I had acquired. After ending my unhealthy relationship I still struggled to get back the motivation I once had to go to the gym. I would workout out on and off again and never had any real results because I wasn't consistent with going to the gym or my diet. It wasn't until 2014 that I finally had the fire re-lit inside me to get back into the gym consistently. I still struggle with proper nutrition but I love being back in the gym and being strong and healthier again.
