I first started lifting in high school to get bigger for football.. when i graduated i was only 155 pounds soaking wet, not exactly whati was hoping for. I went of to college afterwards and ran track, After college is when i really got back into the gym and focused on wanting to have and to live a healthy lifesytle. That and it gave me a reason to stay awake after an 8 hr day on my feet which is hard to do when u wake up at 4 am daily :( ....
I unlike many i am sure LOVE THAT SORE FEELING you get the day after a really good workout, that feeling that makes you want to go back and do more. And theres nothing better than just getting lost in your headphones for an hr or two a day, just forgetting any worry, or problems, bills, or anything else going on in life, its just you and the weight a few new friends you've made over the years at the gym and smiles... there, there's no job to worry about, no back up on the beltway, no girl problems, none of the other b.s. that goes on day to day... to me its a sense of freedom.. true freedom, and man does it feel good!!!
