Despite being overweight most of my life, I managed to become a glamour model at age 26. I was in Uni and needed the extra cash that my 20hr job just wasnât giving me.
That was probably the first time I realised that my body was - what can I say - larger than the other models. I have always been most comfortable around the 90kg mark. My body shape remains pear shaped regardless what size I am so it is usually the scales that tell me I am putting on weight. Living in tracksuit bottoms doesnât help believe me.
So I started dieting and experimenting with exercise. I have managed to get down to about 10 1/2 stone before (way too skinny, my mom kept trying to fatten me up again thought I was ill) and have comfortably maintained 11 stone for a while.
My goal for 2015 is to get to 9 stone. Hella skinny. But I want to have enough muscle to be able to pull it off. I have a few major modelling contracts working with some amazingly sexy models and I want to make sure I bring something to the table there.
Plus my major role model is Janet Jackson - remember in Son of a Gun? Awesome!!!!! And hey she has ups and downs so if she can do so can I :-D
I have tried some of the workouts before over the years but never really got into Bodyspace. I think Bodsypace is the one for me frankly, because I can take it around on my phone. So I have found I have been less likely to skip workouts because I wasnât near a computer when travelling. And the handy history module just keeps me pumped to do that little bit more. I have definitely found being able to see how I am progressing has helped keep me motivated.
