I had been an avid runner since age 15 until I went to Argentina for a couple of years. After returning to the States I went to the gym at the university where I was attending school and my fire was lit for training with weights. I was 21 at the time and I have consistently trained in the gym ever since.
Falling in love with the sport/art of bodybuilding was a natural thing given that I have a profound appreciation for the human body and the beauty of a well-trained physique. I have thoroughly enjoyed training clients as a personal trainer and athletes as a certified strength and conditioning specialist with the NSCA. I love to see the transformation that can take place in a person's life as they learn to take care of themselves physically. I am passionate about training myself and I have done a total of 50 triathlons in my adult life. Lately, I have decided to focus solely on bodybuilding. The decision is partly financial but I am excited to do it because I love bodybuilding. The intense cardio training I have done over the years for triathlon has kept me quite lean and so I have been very excited by the increase in bulk over the last two years as I have laid off the intense endurance training and focused solely on bodybuilding. There are few things that compare to the feeling of an intense pump and the growth that it brings. I love the lifestyle and the discipline that it requires. I love the feeling of doing hard things and feeling accomplished at it. I love feeling big and having other people notice that, feel impressed by it, and want to get to know me because of it. I love the influence that it gives me with my student-athletes.
