I saw a fitness video of Jen Selter and thought wow shes fit as!! I liked her thin physique yet rounded booty and became aware that you can build a booty!! I started researching and pinning pics of body shapes that inspire me to make mine the same, this snow balled to going to the library, reading books/articles etc solidifying that lifting is how to do it!!... On one of my library visits I found and read the book "Body by Science" it was AWESOME!! Explaining the whys behind how our bodies function and how it responds to the things we eat and types of physical activities we do. It was the final catalyst that propelled me into action.... I absolutely love this new lifestlyle and there seems like a lot of secondary benefits to strength training that make it so enjoyable too
I love the whole process of learning, the awareness i have of my body, knowing how it feels when i eat certain things, feeling the differences certain exercises has on it. The secondary benefits for me are the character building things ive noticed. Im more persistent, persevering, and love challenging myself, in and out of the gym
