Wow!! Where to begin?! I'll start right from the beginning. Bodybuilding has been a "family tradition". My Father David Ebert won numerous titles capping off an amazing career with the 1981 Junior Mr. USA title well on his way to a Pro Card before being sidelined with an injury and having to end his career. My Father along with my Mother Sharon Ebert lived and breathed bodybuilding. Both were Pro Judges even! My mother was on the committee who started Women's Physique competitions, and came up with the criteria on which they would be judged. So for all you Women's Physique and Fitness models out there give a round of applause for my mom without her it wouldn't have been possible!! Both even graced quite a few magazine covers (even pictured in "Pumping Iron" the book!! yes it was a book before a movie! All you guru's new that already though!) and we owned a gym called Ebert's Health and Fitness Center for over 30 years!! Training and doing seminars along with guest posing all over the country with greats like Frank Zane; and Ron "Slabs of Abs" Teufel. My Father's youngest brother Joseph Ebert also a Top level Amateur NPC and National level Competitor who has also been featured in Muscle & Fitness! Whew okay now on to me!...I grew up as a gym rat, it was my after school "daycare" at Ebert's Health and Fitness Center. All the guys in my gym especially my Dad and Uncle were my idols! I was basically the mascot. Traveling to shows and meeting greats like Jay, Ronnie, and Gunther among others was a great experience as a kid but wrestling was my first love! I wrestled through my whole life all the way through the NCAA collegiate level at The Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, Golden Bears for LIFE! Now after taking a complete year off and doing nothing other than working after graduation and becoming fat and lazy I finally got the fire lit under me to full fill my goals of competing in Men's Physique! I always got the question "Why don't you look like your Dad and Uncle?! What happened to you?!" but now it's my time! I'm 24 years old coaching High School Wrestling Go HAWKEYES!, as well working a full-time job, also running a business with my Father and going to the gym twice a day!. I've quit drinking, partying, everything! I have finally quit going on yo-yo diets like I did my entire life cutting and making weight for wrestling and now I'm leading a LIFESTYLE and I LOVE IT! I'm using this contest as the motivation I need to take it to the next level and finally quit saying I'm going to follow in the footsteps of my "Family Tradition" and DO IT! You either "Make excuses or you make PROGRESS!" Well the excuses are over from this guy. I have all the tools to get to the next level and while bettering myself and using this transformation contest to motivate myself I also hope to Motivate you! Let's get it everybody!! GOOD LUCK to all those competing in the Transformation contest! All our life's are about to change!
