I was born with a medical condition that nearly killed me, 10 years later had to have another surgery on my abdomin to save my life for a second time. I never thought I would be able to have a body with abs or an hour glass figure. I always had a belly even after my insides were put back in place.
I got to a point in my life where I didn't pay any attention to my weight anymore. It was an excuse to go shopping for new clothes when the old ones got to small. When your own mother turns to you and says "your fat", its time to get your butt back in gear! I started off slow with just a diet, added some gym time occasionally and once I moved back to my hometown area, I signed up at a gym and kept it going. Now I'm looking for different workouts to try to improve my overall appearance. I hoping I can achieve the body I've always wanted but didn't think I could have. Its time once again to beat the odds.
I have to be honest, I don't always love working out. It's like that choir you hate doing but you know it has to get done. I did some aerobic classes to get my body moving as a start then hit the treadmil, eliptical and eventually the weights. I'm not a fan of being so sore at night that I can't sleep.
I do love the fact that I am finally getting an hour glass shape and am in better shape than I ever have been. It's helped improve my appearance and self confidence.
