Between 2000 and 2013 I have weighed every digit on the scale that falls between 180 and 321. Needless to say the 321 part was totally out of character and quite a shock...since then I have been back and forth, gaining and losing the same 50 or 60lbs. every few years. I blame myself for not paying much attention to what exactly I was eating/drinking for a while, but since I started visiting bb.com I have tried to learn as much as I can about the proper way to both nourish and exercise my body.
I love the challenge of eating clean and using the mirror to be the true judge of progress. After being addicted to the scale for 5 years, it is nice to observe change and progress in the mirror, rather than through a number.
As much "fun" as I had abusing my body with food and beer in my 20s, it is way more rewarding working tirelessly to undo all that badness in my 30s. I have no intention of ever slowing down again.
