I began my lifestyle change after I had ran my 2nd Chicago Marathon in Oct. 2012...The day after I did the run, I took a photo in my favorite bikini that I use to ROCK! (before I gained weight)...I always had a mind set that b/c I was a great distance runner that meant I must have been in great shape! I was completely wrong...looking back now, I wasn't eating properly to maintain a healthy weight/lifestyle...I thought, "oh yeah I can eat that whole pizza, I'm running 12 miles tomorrow!" There was never any moderation or "better" choices being made b/c I always assumed I'd 'burn it off.' So after I took my bikini pic, i didn't look at it for a week...when i opened it up again it was like a huge rock hit me in the face. I couldn't believe how my body looked...I was so upset looking at pictures before I became and runner and up to that point...I had gotten in worse shape!! I needed to change...I wanted a hot body and a healthy body! I knew I needed to get my **** together...so I went to Cardinal Fitness as a guest with one of my friends, signed up for a membership and then got a trainer the following week. Working with a trainer has given me soooo much more knowledge that I hadn't expected. I'm on a better path now. Starting a new goal on Jan 13th 2014 to transform my body to fitness model body. I love working out because I love my body and I love myself. The healthier I am the longer and happier my life will live. I work out because I deserve to reach and maintain the goals I set for myself, I enjoy the constant motivation from the people on BB, learning new work outs and most of all being inspired & sharing inspiration with others on my journey! Plus, I mean, who doesn't want to be fit, sexy and healthy?????
Jan 13 2014, im beginning my journey to transform my body to fitness model. 12 weeks, giving it my all and then MAINTAINING :-) here we go!
