My assist wrestling coach got me started back in the 9th grade during the summer going into the 10th grade. I seen an incredible difference my 10th grade wrestling season. After joining the Army I was lifting on occasion during them 4 years. When I got out it was off and on for about 23 years. I would join a gym work out religiously for about 7 or 8 months and then eventually quit. Then for about 10 years or so did much of nothing as far as working out and running. I joined Planet Fitness back in 2014 and for two years I think a went just a hand full of times. It wasn't until one day, for some reason I wanted to weigh myself and I weighed over 250lbs. I have never weighed that much and I look horrible. Not only did I look horrible but it scared me as well. I was getting up there in age so I knew I had to do something. For a couple of years it was pretty consistent but then I would stop for a big then get back into it, then stop. I was lifting too heavy at times and got hurt a few times in the past 5 years. My weight was seriously fluxuating. I could never be consistent with my weight. I haven't seen under 200lbs in a very long time. I have finally began to eat healthier and lift on a somewhat normal schedule. So I am back at it and going strong. Staying motivated and positive.
