I started working out when I met my ex and he inspired me to stay healthy and start working out. Yet, I was never able to get super fit. I just managed to shed a couple pounds here and there. Then, I went through a major rough break up and I decided that I was going to channel all my energy into getting super fit and lean. That is when I actually started working out. Then once I got super fit, I ended up changing jobs and my second job sucked up so much of my time that I literally had no window open to work out any more. It was frustrating. Then I quit my job and moved back home . Once I did that though, all the relaxation and home cooked food worsened the situation and that's why I ended up gaining over 20 pounds in the last year or so. My goal is not only to lose this extra weight I have gained, but also to get super fit (fitter than I used to be), super strong and have a low body fat percentage. Obviously, I also wanna look really good in a swim suit!
It is the best stress reliever, and it has helped me tremendously in building a very high self esteem. I feel confident because I can control my body better than most people and I feel utterly strong. Not working out makes me feel depressed as I start missing the high I experience during an intense workout in the gym. I love lifting because it helps me get toned and increases my overall energy by a large amount. I don't feel sluggish when I work out. Not to mention, it helps me feel sexy! I feel that I can overcome any troubles and conquer any task in the world when I workout on a regular basis!
