I started working out in 2008 remember it very well.. My husband who is active duty military was deployed at this time. We just moved to Guam and I was looking for something to keep me busy when he was gone (besides taking care of our son) Couldn't run to far, didn't have idea about clean eating or importance of weight training.. I was "skinny fat" cardio lover in the beginning and didn't eat enough.. Always admire girls with beautiful, muscular physique and was wondering what they are doing at the gym to look like this.. Until I found out that the diet is the key to success and I have to lift something heavier than a 5 pound beauty bell!!
I love, love, love working out!! It gives me energy, boost my own self esteem and confidence and ensure I'm as healthy as I can be. The time spent there is more offset by the energy returns. But especially love being alone and in a zone by myself. I like to work just hard enough that few other thoughts are possible. I enjoy that very single minded, alone at the edge of the world feeling, even if for only a short time.
