Throughout my life I've been a yo-yo dieter, despite this negativity I was still a talented athlete. My weight has always fluctuated. I was never severely overweight, but I was really out of shape at some points of my life. I have always loved working out, but at times I didn't make time for it. I definitely do not have a natural thin frame and I wasn't genetically blessed with a fast metabolism, therefore I let my weight get a little out of control. At my highest weight I was 164 in 2011, that was my breaking point and the first stage of my journey to get fit & keep it that way.
November 2014 was a very rough and rude awakening month for me. I fell off track and into a depressed state due to some unfortunate events. I'm happy to say I've picked myself up and I'm training for life. Going to get super fit mentally and physically. #neversette
I think working out is great for the mind and awesome for the soul. Working out gives you natural energy and lifting weights makes you feel strong. I love trying new workouts, anything from cycling to yoga.
Currently I'm a Yoga Sculpt Instructor (Yoga+ weight training=Sculpt) I love it! I am also perusing my 200RYT while working full time and teaching Sculpt on the side. I'm can't wait to deepen my practice and get to know my body better!
