After a failed back surgery I had no hope of keeping my body the way it had been for 30 years. During the past 7 years I have seen drastic body changes (totally square from chest to hips, weight gain, and more pain with every pound I gained) that would throw anyone into a bad depression. After reading the "4-Hour Body", I realized that drastic body changes needed drastic work and commitment. I do expect a lot of pain during the transformation, but as they always say, "No pain no gain!" Let's Do This!
Working out always made me feel good about myself, from the inside out. Feeling the burn during the workouts gave me the adrenaline to push myself farther, while the lasting result after the workout made people turn their heads to do a double take as I passed. I love, love, love the adrenaline rush! Pushing myself to extremes with my health will now carry over to my workouts. Due to the back disability, I may have to find other alternatives to get where I want and I will research and try everything and anything until I find exactly what will work for me.
