I was always into working out at the gym in college. I was tall, slim and had a six pack throughout my twenties. My thirties saw weight gain with more focus on career an work. I could never stay 'in the gym' for more than 3 months at a time. Marriage, kids and middle age spread those three month intervals into a moth stint maybe once a year.
Now I join Bodyspace and get on a program, read other bios, see transformations, watch videos and at 47 I've managed to keep a relatively good diet and in the gym for 6 months straight! Thank you Bodyspace. I look forward to another six months.
My fitness routine has become my daily sanctuary. It's the wonderful and personal thing I do with my most valuable possession and the only thing I really have control over in my life: my body.
Everyday I look forward to the character building pain in the gym and the practice of discipline when putting food on the plate.
