As a quadruplet, my brothers and I were always search for ways to shine as individuals, and avoid being judged together. Early on sports became my means of distinction. I started lifting for Basketball but beyond training performance, I began to develop a passion for working out and eating healthy. Eventually, I stopped playing basketball and began to mainly focus on school and fitness, and ever since it has been a major part of who I am.
I believe fitness can improve every area of life as I have seen first hand how it has positively influenced my lifestyle in everything from my life, work, and college experience. However, its impact extends beyond skills like time management and goal setting and traits like patience and grit. For me, fitness was my first true passion. The first time I was proactive about my life, going beyond the classroom and learning, experimenting, and coaching myself. It was the first time my life had a true purpose as I became motivated to share my passion with others and help them get in shape. As my interest and aspirations grow bigger, fitness is a symbol of where it all started for me.
