I had just started school again for the first time in a couple years and there as no way I could afford to put on the "Freshman 15" on top of what I was already at. Thus, I decided to make a change, get healthy I told myself, and cut out all the negative crap in my life including the people holding me back. It's amazing what can happen when you decide that you're going to be happy and nothing, or no one can stop you.

I love the feeling you get when you know you worked as hard as you could. I enjoy the self discipline that I'm developing and understanding that, yeah I am in control of what happens to my body. If I want to get abs, then I will just go and do that because it is only a series of small daily changes that add up to that big change the next month, or weigh in day.
