when I was 26 my brother and I began working out, we called it body building...lol. I was 160 pounds with some fat on me, after a year and a half I was 230 pounds with not much fat at all with 23 inch biceps. I thought I was smoking. however, in 1994 my 5 year old son was killed in a tornado. then I went to ****. Lost all my muscle and gained a lot of weight, up to 300 pounds. I got back in the Army Reserves in 2005 and tried to lose most of my fat. I had a slight heart attack when I was 38 but no real problems since. the last 4 years I could tell something was wrong, but the doctors could not pin it down. After my run times and exercising stamina had gone down so much I finally talked a doctor into doing a heart cath. He found 5 blockages that had been there for 3 to 4 years. In June of 2013 I had a triple bypass CABG (open heart surgery). I started back in the gym in September 2013 and began working out as hard as I could. I gained 19 pounds in 3 months but I lost inches in my waist and gained inches in other places. Like my upper arms went from 14 inches to 16 3/4 inches. I hope they get back to the 23 inches I had previously, but I am much older now. That ship may have sailed. I also want to get my 14 year old son involved in weight lifting. he is about 6 foot and 189 pounds and is in a growth spurt. I also want to get my cardiac health back.
I love to work out because you can actually see the progress. Also, it makes me feel so good, gives me energy, and I can watch the hot chicks in tight clothes work out...lol Also KIK me at Abbottbiz
